So recently I’ve been thinking over my decision to try and go into Communication Studies at college, and it wasn’t until now that I really realized that I don’t really want to do it. I liked the idea of being involved in Communications, but I honestly wasn’t too sure about what I was going to do with it. I’d been thinking this for a while, but I didn’t say anything to my advisor or my parents, but today my dad told me that he thought I would have studied to be a teacher, which is something I considered a couple months ago when I first had the feeling Communications wasn’t my thing. I don’t know, I’m just worried because I know I’ve kind of wasted a year studying some communications stuff, and it also annoys me because I didn’t think about do it sooner. I still haven’t talked it all out with my parents, but thinking about it more and more makes me excited, and realize how much I would love to teach children, hopefully my parents will be just as enthusiastic.
